WHAT IS OTOPLASTY?

In this case, otoplasty is responsible for correcting the angle formed by the ear and the head up to about 30 degrees, that is, bringing the ears together, and in some cases folding them so that they do not protrude to the sides.

HOW IS OTOPLASTY DONE?
Otoplasty is a minimally invasive surgery that is responsible for correcting aesthetic defects in the ears.
This intervention can be performed from 6-7 years of age, when the ears are fully developed and the patient expresses his or her desire to improve the appearance of his or her ears. It is performed under local anesthesia in adults and general anesthesia in children.
The recovery time for an otoplasty is between 2 and 3 weeks. Its results can be seen immediately when the bandages are removed.
